HELICA LEYAT 1921

Before and after the 1st world war, Marcel Leyat tried to adapt to cars the system of drive used by planes.
The automobile with helix was born. The body of plywood in tandem, similar to the fuselage of a plane, brakes on front wheels and directional back axle.
This original " chopper on castors ", in drafts and very dangerous had no success.
